Tell us about yourself.
Being raised by rural Pulaski County by parents serving our community, I found my calling to serve farm families in Southern Illinois. I graduated from Century High School and earned a general associate’s degree from Shawnee Community College before receiving a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness with a focus on marketing and management from Murray State University.
What interested you in a career at FCI?
Farm Credit is known for putting farm families first; the people here truly care about local growers and want to help them reach their full potential. I look forward to building trusting relationships with members to find how FCI crop insurance can fit into their unique risk management plans.
What’s one thing people may be surprised to learn about you?
I enjoy the outdoors – specifically hunting, fishing, and training and testing bird dogs. I fish trotlines on the Ohio River, which is only a few hundred yards from my house. I use handmade lines and run them out of boxes the same way my grandfather’s father did.
