ELLINGER RETIRES FROM FARM CREDIT AFTER MORE THAN 41 YEARS

Larry Ellinger, of Sherman, is retiring from Farm Credit Illinois Dec. 31, after more than 41 years providing support to generations of farm families. Ellinger is the regional manager of the Sherman regional office, serving cooperative members in Logan, Menard, and Sangamon Counties.
Ellinger was raised on his family’s Livingston County grain and livestock farm before graduating from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and a minor in agricultural safety. Throughout his more than 41 years of service, Ellinger worked in eight locations including Jacksonville, Decatur, and Springfield.
He and his wife Ronda have been married for 42 years and have four children – Chris (Nikki), Amy (D.J.), Amanda (Noah), and Nick (Amanda) – and nine grandchildren.
