The Marion regional office welcomed Jarrett Littlefield of Harrisburg Feb. 25, as a vice president of crop insurance. The Marion office serves farm families and rural landowners in Alexander, Gallatin, Hardin, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union and Williamson Counties.
What's your background?
I was raised on my family’s Saline County grain farm and graduated from Galatia High School. I then went to Southeastern Illinois College before transferring to Southern Illinois University Carbondale where I earned a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness economics.
Now I live in Harrisburg with my wife Brittany and our daughter Teagan. I'm a member of the Saline County Farm Bureau Young Leaders and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Prior to joining FCI, where did you work?
I spent three and a half years as a seed and crop production district sales manager, covering southern Illinois for Land O’Lakes, and worked as a sales consultant for Crop Production Services.
